And the body is an instrument in space...

I have been overflowing with this creative spurt of ideas... the setting of the public sphere, a theatre of intertwined events, and the body an instrument in these overlapping spaces; moving between zones of comfort and strain - often just a matter of the psyche bent or twisted either way - and mostly swayed by the rhetoric of everyday media.

But then theres something to be said of everyday spaces and interactions; mundane dialogue and enticing script. We live through it, creating aesthetic pathos and deluded masterpieces; but do we ever stop to think, that along this journey, there might be some purpose yet to be revisited? I think not. I think that as we trudge on through our days, we focus, intently, on the little bits of shrapnels scattered after every blast, (and details matter, of course!) but then we miss the bigger picture, and the notion that everything happens for a reason... just look at the kaleidoscope of colour that abounds, as light reflects through all those little bits of 'innocent' glass!

And, at sometimes unimagined peril, the body moves onward and through the dimensions of time and space and emotion, forgetting to make serious note of the random collection of memory, strung together like a wind-chime.. musical, mysterious and misunderstood.

It just takes a little effort at appreciating the breath that churns through the body, momentary tribute to this thing called life... and believing in simple kindnesses that make everyday worthwhile. Everyday magic exists. Everything else is a bonus.
