Personal joy, personal power

Anyone who attempts to stop you from being joyful, especially from being who you are, is attempting to control you and to diminish you. But. Only if you let them get to you, do you give them that power. As long as you own your joy and personal power, it doesn't matter what's said to you. The sad reality is that there are far too many broken people in the world, some will try all through life to rebuild themselves, while some will try to break others along the way in an effort to make themselves feel 'better'. Tragic but true.
