Reaching forth.. and beyond

She has been courting newness like a thirsty soldier
standing on tiptoe above the crowd, the din, the row,
Eagerness shining like a torch from deep within through eyes brimming with the threat of salted water,
lips quiver, waiting, waiting for something, not quite sure what..

She has been courting disaster in this wait for newness
standing on the edge of madness
peering down, down into that valley of derision
where the scattered remnants of papers from the past still float about in thin air trying to find a place to land, a place to lie,
a place to rest in peace and hopefully decay to nothingness.

She has been courting fear and doubt in this wait to end the tragic pathos
anxiety weighing heavy on the clear brief for a fresh start
making burdensome buggers of the gifts of light-hearted humour and fragrant smiles, sparkling eyes and sweet whispered secrets

But then she has been courting hidden joys in the wonder of an undiscovered path ahead, led by the hand of love, the strength of divine inspirations, the words of Rumi's Love and Allah's Truth.

She has been courting delight, even if she knew it not. And the fruits of labour remain to be seen along a not too distant path.

And mostly she has been courting human-ness in finding her way about the so many mirrored and converging forces of emotion, turmoil and tenacity, and finally glimpsing a delicious transcendent path into eternity.

The universe has conspired to manifest messages of newness in the linings of clouds and the foliage of trees. The signs are everywhere she looks. The cloaks of derision are about to be lifted. The soul of contentment will be adorned, a finery of silk and sparkle.. blessings abound and beyond that, nothing else matters.

who me? succumb to the failure of a sharpened pencil? nay not i, m'lady! the sword of a writer is loyalty to historic instrumentation. kimya and some other magnetic wordsmiths tend to bring the ghost of JT here from time to time.

this is a spiritual post. hence, simple to credit it to kimya. shafinaaz is the practical political analytical writer (wait let me think on that practical part for a bit)

words are magnets. do you not have magnetic poetry? or have i confused you with yet someone else!
