words and things

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in a rather scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things."

-Lewis Carroll

lol...sometimes, Shafs, things are just as they are...no puns or hidden meaning intended! I think we have become so accustomed to looking for "more", analysing and interpreting text, when it's as simple as it is stated. Sometimes, there isn't any "more"...it is what it is.

The wisdom is in knowing when to look for more, and knowing when to just accept it as is :D

If words are paints to be turned into some form of art, then the final artwork is to be left to the interpretation of the spectator.

:-P
