I have been playing with short pieces of fiction in trying to get the creative juices flowing;
this piece was more or less meant to be Chapter 6 of a new book that I am working on, but it has been slightly
adapted for a short story.

it's beautiful stuff Shafs. And now that I may finally read other things with a guilt free conscious, I look forward to reading the completed version.
sounds promising. first drafts often contain valuable gems, I've been told. So keep at it, then polish the gems until they dazzle :)
